How to Make “Local” a Competitive Advantage for your Business! with local leaders Jaclyn Sinay and Abe Faber

Jaclyn Sinay, Executive Director of Cambridge Local First, will present on how local businesses can use “being local” to their advantage– and how becoming a part a Local First Network can help. Jaclyn first joined CLF in December 2012, and has been an integral part of the Cambridge community ever since. Jaclyn recently pioneered the creation of theCambridge Community Card, a loyalty discount card and community-level membership for Cambridge Local First, which is set to launch this spring!

Abe Faber, co-owner of Clear Flour Bread, will also share how being a part of the local community has helped him thrive in his business. Abe is a key leader in Brookline Local First, and has been running the bakery with his business partner Christy Timon for over 32 years!

Both Christy and Abe have been recognized nationally as pioneers in the American renaissance of the production of the hand crafted, authentic, breads and pastries of Europe and are often called upon by the media to act as spokespersons for the artisan baking community.
