SBN is excited to presnt our first AllLocal Dinner of 2017 at SBLP Graduate and SBN Member Mei Mei Restaurant on Sunday, April 23, 2017 @ 5:30pm!

AllLocal dinners raise awareness around the benefits and challenges of seasonal cooking and promote local agriculture, by highlighting local food and local food systems. SBN defines local as the New England regional food system.

Mei Mei Restaurant’s AllLocal Dinner menu will feature eight family style dishes made from all locally sourced ingredients!
Come at 5:30pm to enjoy a locally crafted pre-dinner wine or beer and hear from Chef Irene Li of Mei Mei and a local farmer (special guest to be announced!).

Diners be aware – you may be sharing food with new friends as part of the family style eating experience!

Vegetarian/vegan attendees should be aware that due to the format of the dinner, diversity of options will be limited. That said, SBN and Mei Mei will make sure you get plenty of food!

Mei Mei Restaurant always serves meat that is local, all-natural, pasture-raised, and humanely slaughtered. Sourcing seasonal, sustainably raised foods from local and family-based producers lies at the heart of Mei Mei’s food concept, and allows Mei Mei to provide guests with both a better-tasting meal and a lower carbon footprint.

Mei Mei is a sibling-run food truck, restaurant, shipping container and sauce company serving up creative Chinese-American cuisine made from locally sourced and sustainable ingredients. Their food truck opened in April 2012 and was awarded Boston’s Best Meal on Wheels soon after.
