Our program provides Brockton High School students with the knowledge and hands-on skills to succeed in the commercial solar installation industry. Through a dynamic blend of classroom learning and interactive workshops, you'll gain practical experience using real solar panels and installation equipment.

  • Arrival: 8:30 AM

  • Breakfast: 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM

  • Class: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

  • Lunch: 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM

  • Departure: 11:30 AM

  • Class 1: Introductory Session & The Basics of Energy (Presented by Barry Reaves, NE CEC)

  • Class 2: The Basics of Solar (Presented by Laury Hammel, Owner of Two Solar Installations)

  • Class 3: Basics of Safety Requirements (Presented by Solect Energy Representative)

  • Class 4: Basics Electrical Concepts (Presented by IBEW Representative)

  • Class 5: Career Exploration: Overview of Career Pathways within the Solar Industry (Presented by Nick Darbaloff, President of Sunbug Solar)

  • Class 6: Hands-on Training (Presented by Revision Energy Representative)

  • Class 7: Field Trip to Solar Installation Site (Location TBD)

  • Class 8: Closing Interactive Session (Presented by Barry Reaves and Laury Hammel)
