The 5th Annual Massachusetts Eat Local Month is a statewide campaign that educates both restaurants and the general public on the benefits of sourcing food from within our local food system - using ingredients from Massachusetts first. This August, Massachusetts residents are encouraged to "eat local" whether they are dining out, shopping at the farmers' market, or stopping by their local farm stand.
This is your chance to eat local at your favorite restaurant, learn where your food comes from, shop at a farmers' market, join a CSA and be involved in supporting and strengthening our local food systems. Download the newly released Eat Local MA mobile app on Andriod or iOS today to find local food and farms near you!
